Captain Jack Sparrow - Make-up

Lets start with the make-up, because if you need to grow a goatee and mustache, this will take some time.

Depending on your skin tone, you may want to start by making yourself a bit "more tan", as pirates are in the sun most of the time. After you are the proper skin tone, then you may wish to apply some subtle brown make-up to give you that "dirty pirate" look.  With the "grubby" look done, you will add black eyeliner to your eyes and smear it in to cover your entire bottom eyelid. Then apply a substantially smaller amount of eyeliner to your top eyelids. Make sure not to get them too black, as you will just look like a raccoon. Now, either you need to have a mustache and goatee, or you can buy fake ones. I would suggest getting the fake goatee, as Captain Jack Sparrow's is rather long and braided into two strips. If you're going for the realism, it would be best to start growing your goatee early. This is just one of the steps needed for you to have the best Jack Sparrow Halloween costume.

Next up is our costume tips, this is where you will choose if you want to buy a full Captain Jack Sparrow costume, or just a partial costume, or make your own.
