The "Captain Jack Sparrow", it would be very hard to
pull it off with out a sufficient costume. Now is the time
that you need to decide if you want to buy a complete
costume, piece together a costume from the many available to
buy, or to make your Captain Jack Sparrow Halloween costume.
If you are looking to buy a complete costume, there are many
to choose from and with the fact that there is not one
"perfect" costume, the decision should not be too hard. Here
are a few of the most popular Captain Jack Sparrow Costumes

If you like the idea of having a custom Jack Sparrow costume, but don't want to make one yourself, and don't want to pay the money to have one made for you, your best bet would be to buy a complete costume and then add some additional accessories. We have listed a few choice accessories that are available for your Captain Jack Sparrow Halloween costume. To start, you will need to choose your hat. With many to choose from, you'll be sure to find one that you love. You can get just the Pirates of the Caribbean hat, with or without attached braided hair. You can also get a bandana with attached braided hair to wear underneath your Jack Sparrow hat.
Now comes the issue of Captain Jack Sparrow's pants or "breeches". Unless you plan on taking off your boots, or lifting up your vest, any pair of comfortable dark grey pants. For those of you who "must" be as authentic as possible, you may wish to make your own pants to match the real Captain Jack Sparrow. To do this you must re-create the pants with one regular button in the middle, and five buttons across the top. As for Captain Jack Sparrow's shirt, it is a loosely fitting thin material. The color of this shirt is an off white, almost tan. It is a collared deep v-neck, that is fairly long. HERE IS A REFERENCE PHOTO. And now Captain Jack Sparrow's waistcoat (aka. vest). This waistcoat (or vest) is a bit unusual. The front is a dark, purplish-blue that comes to the upper thigh. The back, however, is a light brown fabric with faint vertical stripes, and ends just below the waist. Most early to mid 18th century waistcoats had a single length. This is reflected in most of the vest's on the market today, so if you are planning on buying one, you will have to make alterations to be truly accurate. HERE ARE THE REFERENCE PHOTOS, FRONT, BACK. The Frock Coat. As
Jack Sparrow is only wearing this coat for a short
period of time in the movies, this is a piece of the
costume that is optional. If this is added to your
costume however, there will be no trouble figuring
out who you are portraying to be.
