| Ok, Now that we
have the base of your Captain Jack Sparrow Halloween costume
taken care of, its time to figure out what accessories you
want to have with you. Again, all of these steps that we're
going through are just steps that help you to become the
best Jack Sparrow that you can be. Every well chosen
accessory is sure to help you become the character that you
are trying to portray. Here is when you need to decide just
how well detailed you want to be with this years Halloween
Costume. For example, in all of the Pirates of The Caribbean
movies, Captain Jack Sparrow is adorned with rings, a sword,
a pistol, a sash, rags on his hands and wrists and more.
These accessories can aid in becoming the most accurate
portrayal of Captain Jack Sparrow.
See
our Captain Jack Sparrow pictures for references, HERE.
It would be a good idea to watch the Pirates
of The Caribbean movies closely to review all of the
accessories that Captain Jack Sparrow is wearing. From our
studies, here are the most obvious accessories that would
aid you in having that precise and accurate costume.
- At least 4 rings on his hands: 1 on
his right index finger, 1 on his left thumb, 1 on his
left index finger and one on his left pinkie finger.
- Rags on both of his wrists and hands:
On his right hand, a dark brown rag that his right
middle and ring fingers are inserted into. It looks as
if it is simply tightly wrapped around his right wrist.
And on his left hand a tan/red rag that again is simply
tied around his left wrist and wrapped around the palm
of his left hand.
- A sword and scabbard on his left
side.
- A red/white sash that is tied at his
waist, and hangs to about mid-calf.
- A brown side pouch to carry his
"affects".
- He does not have the pistol where it
is visible most of the time, but it would be ok to tuck
a fake pistol into your sash/belts.
- Gold teeth, these vary throughout the
movies, but there seems to be at least 1 on his upper
right k-9 tooth at all times.
Other then those, you could probably get
away with most anything that looks "piratey", but stay away
from eye-patches and things of that sort. You must keep in
mind that if you are adding an accessory that Captain Jack
Sparrow did not have in the movies, it must look like
something that could have been and that nobody would know
the better without thorough study of "The Pirates of The
Caribbean" movies.
