This Halloween Craft is sure to be
lots of fun, and becomes a great decoration for your house this
Halloween. These spooky spiders will provide you with hours of fun!
From the creation of these little critters to playing with them...
you won't be able to get enough.
What You'll Need
Styrofoam ball, Apprx. 4" in diameter
Black Acrylic Paint
Sponge Applicator
2 Large Wiggle Eyes
Hot Glue
9 Black Chenille Sticks
What You'll Do
Using the sponge applicator, paint the entire Styrofoam ball
and allow to dry completely.
Us eight of the
chenille sticks for legs. To do this, at the bottom of each stick,
bend it into a foot, and 1" long. Then bend the knee about halfway
up.
When the ball is dry,
insert the chenille sticks into the body, four on each side.
Cut the last chenille
stick in half, and then cut one of those halves again. Bend the
quartered chenille stick to create a "feeler" about 1/2" long and
place one on either side of the "face".
Hot glue the wiggle
eyes onto the spiders face.
Adjust the legs so that
the spider stands on its own.
You can modify these
spiders by substituting the black paint for the color of your
choice, or by gluing things to the spiders body.
