Leg Avenue Inc. got its humble beginnings when the Tsai family imported from Taiwan to Los Angeles, CA, in 1984. The Tsai family began to make hosiery, designing their own unique stockings and having them manufactured and imported from Taiwan. This humble beginning began in a red brick building in downtown Los Angeles, where they sold their hosiery at swap meats and kiosks located in L.A.'s famous downtown fashion district.

In the late 1990's and early 2000, Leg Avenue Inc. invested heavily in operation logistics and computing technologies, which caused them to grow tremendously. Also in the year 2000, Leg Avenue Inc. decided to enter the Halloween market with the introduction of several provocative costumes at the National Halloween Costume and Party Show in Chicago. Leg Avenue Inc. was the first in the industry to provide easy access to costume buying year round, with retail outlets in every major metropolitan city. To add to their industry firsts, Leg Avenue Inc. was also the first to mass market sexy, adult-oriented costumes and was also the first to offer costumes specifically designed for women.

Today, Leg Avenue Inc. is located in City of Industry, CA, just having re-located from a 35,000 sq ft. warehouse to a new 150,000 sq ft. distribution warehouse. With Their print catalogues expanding from 24 pages in 2000 to nearly 700 this year, and with more then 500 Halloween costumes, its easy to see that with lots of hard work and quite a few "industry firsts", Leg Avenue Inc. has ended up at the top of the Halloween industry for the adult market.
